Obituary For Ms. Eva Mae Cash Johnson

Eva Mae Cash Johnson, daughter of the late Roy and Johnsie Mae “Polly” Watson Cash was born in Chesterfield County, South Carolina on July 30, 1952. She departed this life on November 12, 2022 at McLeod Hospital in Cheraw, South Carolina.

Eva attended public school in Chesterfield, South Carolina at Gary High School. She also worked for many years at Dan River in Morven, North Carolina. She gave her life to Christ at an early age and worked diligently in the church until her health declined.

In addition to her parents, Roy and Polly Cash, she ws preceded in death by her brother, Richard Cash, her sister, Letha Mae Cash and her son, Stanley Johnson.

Left to cherish her loving, charitable and selfless memories are her son, Demond Johnson (April) of Cheraw, South Carolina; four grandkids, Tevon, Taquan, Asia and Demondre; one great granddaughter, Maya K.

Three sisters, Delores Norton, Evelyn Johnson and Teresa Little (Ricky). Four brothers, Jimmy Lee Cash, Aaron Cash, Lenis Cash (Merita) and Gary Cash (Stephanie). A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, dear friends and church family whom she loved all dearly.

The Homegoing Services will be on Friday, November 18, 2022, 2:00pm, Smith's Memorial Chapel, 604 Salisbury Street, Wadesboro, North Carolina. Interment will be in the family plot of Galilee AME Zion Church Cemetery, Morven, North Carolina.

The Johnson Family will greet family and friends on Friday, November 18, 2022 from 1:30-2:00pm at Smith's Memorial Chapel.

The public viewing will be on Thursday, November 17, 2022 from 3:00-5:00pm at Smith's Funeral Home.
