Obituary For Louis Tyrone Perry

Mr. Louis Tyrone Perry, 71, of Phenix City, AL passed Thursday, November 17, 2022 in Columbus, GA.

Funeral service will be held 12 noon EST Friday, November 25, 2022 at Pine Hill Baptist Church, Phenix City, AL with Rev. J.C. Fryer, officiating. Burial to follow in Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery, Ft. Mitchell, AL. Visitation is Wednesday, November 23, 2022 from 9-2 p.m. EST.

Mr. Louis Tyrone Perry was born November 26, 1950 to the proud parents of the late Johnnie and the late Martha Perry.

Louis confessed his life to Christ at an early age. He was a member of Pine Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Phenix City, AL. He was a 1968 graduate of South Girard High School and proudly, served in the United States Air Force. He was also a Vietnam Veteran.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Johnnie and Martha Perry; one brother, Jesse Perry; two sisters, Patricia Grant and Martha Bozeman.

He leaves to cherish his memories his loving and devoted wife, Bernice Perry of Phenix City, Alabama; seven children, Ebonee Perry of Phenix City, Alabama, Marquez Wilson (Tina) of Birmingham, Alabama, Manqual Wilson (Andrea) of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, LaKeya Perry of Columbus, Georgia, Nikki Bryant (Senica) of Columbus, Georgia, Jamar Perry (Kiwanius) of Phenix City, Alabama and Akil Perry of Phenix City, Alabama; 15 grandchildren whom he loved dearly; two aunts, Viola Kelly and Dorothy Perry both of Phenix City, Alabama and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who will miss him dearly.

I met Mr. Perry when I started coming to Ebonee's. He was always soft spoken and would just give a smile. I affectionately called him Papa Perry. To the three beautiful Perry daughters, I wish you peace and understanding. All of you have always been so wonderful to me and my family.
