Obituary For Michael Ira Gibson

Mr. Ira Lamont Gibson,72, entered eternal rest on Sunday, November 13, 2022. He was the son of the late Mary Margaret Gibson and the late Thomas Johnson.

Ira was educated in the state of New York School System. When he was residing in New York, he managed the laundry department at the New Rochelle Hospital and later managed two apartment buildings.

Survivors are five siblings, Evangelist Amanda Tate, Jacqueline Bouser, Brenda Pellicci, Valarie Gibson - Price and Danny Johnson; four aunts, Dora Mingo, Mary McCoy, Willie Mae Drakeford, and Inell Wright.

Funeral Service will be 12:00 p.m. Saturday, November 26, 2022, at Stewart Funeral Home. Burial will be in the IC Clinton Cemetery. Service will be conducted by Reverend Jerusha Gaither and Evangelist Amanda Tate.

Viewing will be 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. Friday, November 25, 2022, at Stewart Funeral Home.

Ira, we were so shocked and saddened to hear of your passing. You had many struggles, but they never stopped your smile and concern for others. You always wanted to know how your cousin Monte and his family was doing, as well as our other family members. We're really going to miss you!
