Dear Nancy, I am sorry for your loss and hope that you take solace in having your mother and providing her with your adoration for so many years. Miss Eva was my shero. Years ago, at the agency, we were "required" to perform additional duties outside our regular hours. Being the loyal civil servant that you were, you accepted the assignment. You went out on a weekend night to a less than desirable neighborhood to handle business. And who did you take for protection? – Miss Eva! (I actually felt that Miss Eva was not going to let her baby girl go to a bad neighborhood alone at night.) Sometimes she would join you and the rest of the golden girls for dinner and her beauty (inner and outer) would shine. She was so erudite and elegant. Thank you for sharing your time with her with me. I hope that you know that you make her proud. Much Love. Connie Moss and Sons and Grands

You have my sincere condolences. Lovely sweet person, full of fun, I remembered we went fishing and got caught in a storm. I was so afraid, about to jump off when she and nancy calmed me down. We laughed when I was on dry land. You have my prayers and God be with you. Loretta Adkins
