Stanley Peterson, 52, of Sarasota, FL, passed away on Nov. 14, 2022. Visitation will be held from 6:00pm-8:00pm on Fri., Nov. 25, 2022 at Jones Funeral Home. Services will be held 1:00pm on Sat., Nov. 26, 2022 at Light of the World International Church. Burial will be held at Galilee Cemetery. Funeral arrangements by Jones Funeral Home.

Stanley Bernard Peterson, Sr. was born May 11, 1970 in Sarasota, FL to Marvin Peterson, Sr. and Millie Peterson. He was the youngest of four children and was educated in the Sarasota County public school system. He was a graduate of Booker High School, class of 1988. He was the life of the party & enjoyed making others laugh & smile.

Stanley was preceded in death by his father, Marvin Peterson, Sr. & brother Johnnie Steen.

He leaves to cherish the memories of his life his loving wife, Twanita Peterson, five children Tekeya, Takira, Akira, Lajavelin, Stanley Jr. & Chris. Step-Children Quasey Brown, Kevin Jackson Jr. (Maddie), Cedric Jackson and Jayquan Singleton (Sharkiya), grandchildren Nahaley Matthews, Aria Matthews, Amira Peterson, Ryder Peterson & his step grandchildren; sister, Sharon Peterson-Townsend; brothers, Ricky Peterson (Andrea), Marvin Peterson Jr, (Tracy), Arthur Larkins (Linda); close cousin Anthony Williams and great niece Wynter Higdon "Tugga".

Stanley was well loved by all who knew him & he will leave a lasting memory in the lives of so many people, including and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family & friends.
