Obituary For Frank Boyd

Mr. Frank Boyd, affectionally known as "Dookie" was born August 17, 1951 in Louisville, GA to the parentage of the late L.D. Boyd, Sr and Ozie Mae Loyd Boyd. Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 26, 2022 at 12 Noon at the Jones Grove Baptist Church, Louisville, GA The burial will be held in the church cemetery. Public viewing will be held Friday, November 25, from 3:00 – 6:00 P.M. At an early age he joined the Jones Grove Baptist Church family. He attended the public schools in Jefferson County and was an avid football player and graduated in 1972. He began his employment soon after graduation at Thermo King Corporation in Louisville. Frank married the love of his life, Glennis Thompson Boyd. He was an all around loving and fun person who enjoyed life to the fullest. He made his transition on Friday, November 18, 2022. He joins all of those that preceded him in death including his parents, his wife, his brothers; Willie Lee Boyd, Robert Boyd and James Boyd: his sister; Ozie Mae Boyd. He leaves to cherish his memories his children: Tyrus (Maria) Brown, Tampa, FL, Princel Boyd (Willie) Tarver, Louisville, GA, Terry Brown, Minneapolis, Minnesota, Falicia Boyd, Louisville, GA, Antwun Floyd, Louisville, GA, Antoine Harrison Gray, Waynesboro, GA, Shanieca Bush, Midville, GA, Ashley Floyd, Louisville, GA; fourteen grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren: his brothers: L.D. Boyd, Louisville, GA and Larry (Annie) Boyd, Brunswick, GA; his twin sister: Frances Boyd, Louisville, GA; his mother-in-law: Mary Frances Thompson, Louisville, GA, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: Jeannette (Harold) Thompson, Louisville, GA, Annie (Hanson) Harris, Roger Thompson, Atlanta, GA, Gladys Boyd, Daytona, FL; Best friend that he loved as a son, Macklin Ghant; a special friend, Connie Scott; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
