Sherwood Turner life came to an end on Sunday, November 20, 2022 at the age of 58 at his residence in Thompson Station, Tennessee. Sherwood was born on December 7, 1963 in Franklin, Williamson County Tennessee to the parents of Sammie Lee Turner and Agnes Lucas Turner.

He leaves to cherish his memories sisters, Sheron (Jesse, Jr.) Dotson and Shelia (Ron) Shepherd; brother, S. Davis (Phyllis) Turner; foster brother, Randall Shaw; bonus sons; Rico Burns, Kevin Burns, Jr., Tavar Britton, Travokias (Beth) Britton; aunts, Johnnie Brooks, Betty Jean Turner and Gwendolyn Lucas; great aunt; Emma Bell Groves (Jim Thomas); uncles, William (Carolyn) Turner, Uel (Brenda) Lucas; special devoted niece; Jessica (Ron) Johnson; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Mr. Turner will lie in state on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 from 12 until 5 at Waters Funeral Home 1408 Columbia Ave. Franklin, Tennessee.

Visitation with family, Thursday December 1, 2022 from 11:00 until 12:00 at Waters Funeral Home, 1408 Columbia Ave., Franklin, Tennessee with funeral to follow. Pastor Jerry L. Brooks, officiating.
