Inez later moved to Phenix City, AL as a young adult and became a member of Pine Hill Missionary Baptist Church. Inez met the love of her life, Rev. James C. Williams in the late 1960’s and they became one in February of 1970.

They serviced people from near and far for approximately 15 years. Inez and James were happy to adopt their wonderful and loving daughter, Brittany Shante Calhoun, at the age of 6, in 1992. After, Brittany came into their lives, they became even more happy and blessed to have a child.

Inez was known for her kindness, generosity and her eagerness to help anyone in need. She naturally had the great traits that all of her sisters have, which is cooking. Inez was one of the best cooks that one could encounter. She loved to feed people, whether it was someone she knew and even if it was a stranger. Inez loved spending time with her family and friends. She often held all of the family gatherings at her house because she wanted to make sure everything went well.

Guest Book

I am Stan Baggett. Inez worked for me at Jason's Carry Out Foods in Columbus Ga. Inez taught me so much about cooking. She was a wonderful person. My whole family thought so much of her and her family. We had several Christmas parties at the restaurant over the years. I knew just about everybody in her family, her husband James, her mother , Brittney, her niece who worked for us. Inez will be truly missed. She is with James now.
