I coached Danny in football at CCHS.I remember like yesterday, the catch from Reggie Bolton in the Tucker game that got us a huge win. I also coached the swim team and Danny was the only black athlete that came out and was on the team. A great student and person. Warren "Coach" Norman

My heart is heavy, Danny was a childhood friend, we have know each other since we were children. We watched each other mature into adulthood having children, then grandchildren. Danny was a beautiful soul inside and out. He had a heart of gold and always had a smile on his face. I always admired him for being a stand up guy for taking the role of a brother/ father to his siblings after the passing of his mother. Heaven has gained a true solider who is looking down on his family smiling! Rest In Peace my friend Danny!
