My family and I send our sincere condolences to the family of Ernest (aka Pickle to his closest friends). I've known Pickle practically all of my life. The fond memories of growing up together from elementary school, through highschool. We both were in the Central Highschool band together. He played the trumpet and I played drums. During our band days while trying to read new music that Mr Steve Scott had given us, I would look over at Pickle while he was trying to read the music which was about 2 inches away from his eyes without his glasses on. His eyes were squinting all over the place as he was trying to read the musical notes. I'd look at him and tried to get his attention. Pickle, put your glasses on so you could read the music man. There are so many fond memories of us as we were growing up together throughout our school days. I didn't get chance to see him much after highschool because I left home to join the Air Force. I later became a police officer here in Virginia. I'm now retired. To Ernest's family. I know that Ernest did his best to provide for his family. Even though it's been a while since I've seen Ernest, I'd send text messages to his sister Charlene to tell him that I said hello. My family and I are praying for all of you. I live in Virginia now and won't be able to attend the homegoing service. If there's anything that I can do for you all, I'm only a text message or phone call away. Don't hesitate to ask. I can also be reached on Facebook. Ervin and Carrie Littleton I live on the beautiful east coast of Virginia Elittl8120@msn.com
