The private burial for Barbara Wilke of Auburn, Alabama, will be at the Whispering Hills Natural Green Cemetery and Memorial Nature Preserve in LaGrange, Georgia. There will be no visitation.

Mrs. Wilke, who passed away on November 22, 2022, was born on April 7, 1938, in Medford, Wisconsin. She retired from Auburn University.

She was preceded in death by her son, James Wilke and one sister, Nancy Robinson.

She leaves to cherish her memory: husband of 62 years, Arthur Wilke of Auburn, Alabama; son, Erik (Linda Kelley) Wilke of Mableton, Georgia; sister, Kay Perkowski of Greensboro, North Carolina; brother, Regis Fust of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; a host of nieces and nephews from Wausau, Wisconsin.
