Funeral service for Lamar Grimmett, 33, of Auburn, AL, will be at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 29, 2022, at Mount Moriah Missionary Baptist Church, 2255 Wrights Mill Road, Auburn, AL 36830 with interment in Auburn Memorial Park Cemetery, Reverend Bernard Anderson, Pastor and Officiating, Bishop Barbara Shepherd, Eulogist.

Mr. Grimmett, who passed away Saturday, November 19, 2022 at the East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika, AL, was born September 22, 1989 in Lee County, Alabama.

Public viewing will be Monday, November 28, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. (Facial covering is required).

He leaves to cherish his memory: his parents, Lamar (Janice) Finley and Tracy Grimmett (Sabrina Shealey) all of Auburn, AL; four sisters, Ashley Finley of Opelika, AL, Briana Finley of Hoover, AL, Lamarah Finley and Leanne Grimmett both of Auburn, AL; three aunts, Bernice Findley (Clarence Shorter), Elizabeth (Calvin) Smith both of Auburn, AL and Stephanie (Randy) Strickland of Opelika, AL; five uncles, Robert (Joyce) Finley of Jacksonville, FL, Henry (Brigetha) Finley, Dealdrin (Deborah) Finley, Thaddeus Fields all of Auburn, AL and Michael Ross of Opelika, AL; a niece, Wynter Holstick; three nephews, Larico Spinks, Jr., Tyaden Smith and Karson Jackson; a host of cousins and friends.
