My Heart was deeply saddened at the passing of Mr. Larry Everette, many years before I joined the First Baptist Church of South Richmond Sanctuary Choir, we visited the church and was truly blessed by His singing, seems like he sang lead every week, Center of my Joy, Stand, My Soul is Anchored, Infant Lowly at Christmas time, and so many other songs will never be the same without that high-pinched tenor voice!!! Condolences to his beautiful wife Rosalind and other family members , May God's Peace surround you all at this difficult hour!!!Pamela A Burford

This comes as a complete shock to me! Words cannot begin to express the friendship and kinship I had with this Warrior King. From our days at VUU throughout our tenure at Rubicon Inc. as well as the Richmond Public School System. He was my friend. His wife Rosalyn and he shared many moments with me in the trenches attempting to assist those battling substance abuse towards a better life. He meant more to me than I can express. Hearing of his death struck my soul. I loved this Brother. I will grieve for some time. May the Ancestors greet him with all the majesty befitting a King and Warrior. My heartfelt condolences go out to his family and friends. To Ros , I'm here if you need anything. I'm sad.
