He met Doris Bell and they later married on September 12, 1969.
He received his education in the Brooks County School System. He was a local Commercial Truck Driver with Williams Produce in Dixie, Georgia. He retired as a sanitation driver with the City of Boston in Boston, Georgia. He was a faithful member of New Jersey Missionary Baptist Church until his health failed.
He passed from this earthly life on November 12, 2022. His wife Mrs. Doris Cason, son Cory Bell, parents Horace and Essie Cason, 7 brothers and 1 sister preceded him in death.
He leaves in mourning, 6 children Missy (Melvin) Goss, Valdosta, GA, Morris Bell, Valdosta, GA, Alice (Dennis) Dowdell, Grovetown, GA, Annie Cason, Thomasville, GA, Wallace Cason, Jr. (Shenika), Valdosta, GA, and Brian Cason (Ashley), Thomasville, GA; twenty- two grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren; sisters Ebenezer Cannady, Lillie Mae Bryant (M.B.), Marie Gross, and Shirley Ann Cannady; sister-in-law Irene Cason, and a special sister-in-law Lucille Thomas; special nephews Jerry Stewart and Carl Dennis Dasher and a special niece Bonnie Faye Brown. He will be truly missed, but never forgotten.
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, November 20, 2022 at 2PM at Simmon Hill Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Calvin Williams, eulogist. Burial was followed in Simmon Hill Church Cemetery.
