Mr. George Copeland, 62

Brother George Curtis Copeland was born on July 11, 1960 in Brooks County, Georgia to the

late Robert Lee and Alberta Copeland. He departed this life November 20, 2022.

He graduated from Brooks County High School in 1978. After graduating from high school,

he attended Albany State University and received his Associates Degree in the health care field

in 1983. He loved singing and was an excellent cook. He served diligently and was a faithful

member of Beulah Baptist Church, where he sang in the choir and was a part of many other

ministries.

He is proceeded in death by his father, Robert Lee Copeland, two brothers, Ricky Copeland and

Robert Copeland and one sister Alberta Copeland. He leaves to cherish his memories, his loving mother, Alberta Copeland of

Quitman, GA; one God sister Mary Jackson of Tallahassee, FL; one niece April Parson of

Hahira GA, one nephew Anthony Copeland of Glendale, AZ; two special friends, Edward Byers

and Anthony Broadnax; and a host of great nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were Friday, November 25, 2022 at 1:00 P.M. at the North End Cemetery in Quitman, Georgia with Dr. John Manning officiating.
