“ Courtney Tiffany Deanna Jenkins, was born on September 14th, 1993, to Sheila Allen and Eddie Jenkins. She was raised by her four maternal Aunts (Wendylon, Katrina, Mary and Margarette). Courtney departed this life in the early hours of November 17th, 2022.
As a young child Courtney was shy, smart, reserved and very watchful. She was trained in African dance. She enjoyed playing with her brother Darrell and her younger sister Brianna. She enjoyed debates with her older sister Danielle. She loved to read and had a knack for problem solving. She loved music and enjoyed singing. Courtney had a relationship with God and was involved in the church at a young age.
Courtney graduated from Jupiter High School one year early, and continued her education at Florida International University as a business major. Courtney enjoyed being fashionable and looking fabulous. She had a heart for her biological parents and her siblings. For people Courtney cared about and loved, she always would make time for them and do just about anything to help them out if they needed it. Courtney had a kind heart and could be seen often giving food to the homeless near Belvedere.
Courtney accomplished a lot in her short life. She purchased her first home at the age of 24 and was a resident of Port St. Lucie, FL. She worked really hard to maintain her independence. Her favorite color was black. Good music and good food equaled a good time to Courtney. She was also available for car karaoke and could sing songs from the Emotions, The Counting Crows and the Gap Band without missing a single lyric. It didn’t take much to make Courtney happy. She enjoyed simple things and could appreciate them and that was both the nature and the beauty of her spirit.
Courtney leaves to mourn the loss of her two sisters: Danielle Allen-Registe (Elizabeth Registe wife), Brianna Jenkins. A brother: Darrell Coudgo (Danielle Coudgo wife) Two bonus sisters Brittany Brown-Johnson (Micahel Johnson husband), and Shayna Marie Bentley: A special cousin David Carter. Multiple cousins all over the country. She leaves behind a host of nieces: Deniyah, Delilah, Kya, April, Autumn, Mileena. A host of nephews: Darrell Jr., Dwayne, Kasen, Marcus, Rain, Ares, Michael Jr. and Amari. She had two bonus nephews in Jaylen and Jayden. (Mother Shayna Bentley) She also leaves behind one devoted Aunt Wendylon, two very special aunts who raised her Aunts Mary, Katrina and a host of other relatives. She is an exemplary example of the profound impact just one individual can have on anyone's life in such a short time and she will be dearly missed. She was and is loved. May her memory live on in all of us and the love we will carry for her until we meet again. “
