Funeral service for Jimmy L. Kirby, Sr., 71, will be Friday, December 9, at noon at the Bethel Baptist Church, Anniston with burial in Eden Hills Cemetery.

Mr. Kirby passed away on November 30, 2022. Mr. Kirby's remains will arrive at the church one hour prior to his service. He retired from RMC. Mr. Kirby was a Deacon at the Bethel Baptist Church.

Survivors include his children: Angelo (Bernard) Phillips, Shirley Jones and Maurice L. Kirby, Sr.; sister: Gloria Kirby, grandchildren, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Shelly, Sr. and Dovie L. Kirby, his wife, Mary L. Kirby, children, Deborah McLester, George Phillips, Michael Phillips, Willie John Nix, Jimmy Kirby, Jr., siblings, Shelly Kirby, Jr., Dottie McMillan, Charles Kirby, Walter Kirby, Katherine Kirby, Betty Ann Kirby.
