On February 26, 1939, she was born in Meigs, Georgia to the late Theodore Roosevelt Wells and Rosa Lee Peoples Simmons and Willie Stacey. Her stepfather was the late Jack Simmons. Her parents preceded her in death.
Minister Anderson had many accomplishments during her life. In 1957, she was a part of the last graduating class from Boston High School, Boston, Georgia. On December 31, 1957, she married Carlton (Pete) Anderson. The newlywed couple relocated from Boston, Georgia to Delray Beach, Florida.
While living in Delray Beach, she received a Nursing Certificate and a Home Economics Certificate from the University of Florida. Minister Anderson accepted Christ as her personal Savior and in 1994 she began her ministry at Evangelical Vision Ministries. Minister Anderson received her ministry license and a recognition from the Association of Individual Ministries. In 1997 she began ministering with New Destiny Christian Faith Center. She was a member and attended First Boston Tabernacle of Praise until her health begin to decline In her later years, she enjoyed playing cassette tapes of her ministry on her front porch for the community to hear.

Grandsons Guamatus (Antwoin) Anderson of Fairburn, GA, Bobby Revels III of Union City, GA, Ken’Yatta McCloud of Boston, GA, Granddaughters Chinkere Anderson of Ft Lauderdale, FL, Quediria Revels of Atlanta, GA, Shirvantes McCloud, Xenia McCloud, Ken’Yetta McCloud of Boston, GA; Great grandsons Zaviere Revels, Da’Ceon Jones, Jhavien McCloud; Great granddaughters Zai’Keri Anderson, KayLee Revels, Brooklynn Anderson. Brothers Ellis Simmons (Lillie) of Stockbridge, GA, Carlton Simmons of Thomasville, GA, Jerome Stacey (Bridgette) of Delray Beach, FL, Joseph Wells, Atlanta, Georgia, Marvin Wells and Norris Wells, Jacksonville, FL Sisters Dorothy Ann Stacey Wright and Mary Ann Stacey of Delray Beach, FL, Francis Wells-Thurman, Atlanta, GA. Sister in laws Mary Ann Simmons Young, Deansie Simmons Banks, Thomasville, GA. Brother in law Robert Anderson, Riviera Beach, FL.
Special Friends Elaine Youmus, Bonnie Jackson Pace, Dr. Retta Brooks Copeland, Special nephew she loved as a son Williams H. Simmons of Ft Myers, FL Minister Anderson grew to love others as her children, Doris Miley, Stanley Roundtree, Charles McCloud, Demetrius Thomas, Jomika Craddock and many others. She leaves a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, friends and church family.
Minister Anderson was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, sister, son and other relatives. Isaiah 61:10 I will greatly rejoice in the Lord, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels.
A celebration of life will be Saturday, December 3, 2022 at 11AM at St. John AME Church in Boston, GA with Pastor Alfonia Sanford, eulogist. Burial will follow in the Boston Cemetery.
