Obituary For Mrs. Margaret Lester

Mrs. Margaret Lester of Henderson GA entered into eternal rest on Wednesday December 7, 2022.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Margaret Lester, of Henderson GA will be Saturday December 17, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. at Christ Chapel Unadilla, GA. Interment Lester Cemetery, Elko GA.

Public Visitation will be held Friday December 16, 2022 from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Mrs. Margaret Lester, daughter of the late Jack William Solomon Jr. and Louise Solomon. She was born July 12, 1948 in Vienna, Georgia. Her daughter Beetina Ponder preceded her in death. She attended the public schools of Vienna, Georgia. Later in life, she found her passion and started a career at Fairburn HealthCare. She was employed as a Laundry Aide and she worked faithfully with the company for over 21 years. She was a very dedicated and hardworking employee.

She was a faithful and active member of Christ Chapel Unadilla, in Unadilla, Georgia. She served actively with a heart of service and love. She had a passion for cooking for her loved ones, and spending time with her favorite person and best friend Jack and caring for those she loved.

She was united in holy matrimony to Oscar “Jack ”Lester, in March of 1971. This union of 51 years was blessed with happy time and two children.

Her beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her family. She leaves behind: her loving husband Oscar “Jack ”Lester, her devoted grandson Monterious Antonio Lester; her loving older sister, Jessie Mae West, and her loving Step daughter, Shaquetta Todd. Her beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her grand children and her great grandchildren. She leaves a charge to a host of sister in laws, brother in laws, nieces, nephew and cousins to continue spending time with her favorite person and best friend “Jack” and caring for those she loved.
