Mable Louise Witherspoon,89, affectionately addressed as “Louise” to many family members and friends, departed this life on December 3, 2022. She was the daughter of the late Lancy Sr.and Mable Stratford. She was married to the late Samuel Witherspoon.

Louise was educated in the Lancaster County School System.

Louise joined White Oak AME Zion Church at a young age and was a member before relocating to Washington DC.

Left to cherish her fond memories are two sons, Clyde Witherspoon (Cheryl) of Silver Spring, Maryland and Roy Witherspoon (Sandy)of Washington, DC; one sister, Annie Pearl Springs (Shelly)of Lancaster, South Carolina; three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 18, 2022, at White Oak AME Zion Church, 1281 W. Rebound Road, Van Wyck, SC, with burial in the church cemetery. Reverend Justin Barbour and Reverend Clyde Witherspoon will conduct the service. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service.
