Johnny Lee Briscoe of Tryon, NC was born on April 12, 1952, to the late Mr. and Mrs. George Nelson Briscoe. He transitioned to his eternal home on Friday, December 16, 2022. He was preceded in death by: his loving mother and father, Mr. George Nelson Briscoe and Mrs. Exie Thompson Briscoe; and two sons, Tracy L. Briscoe and DeShannon Briscoe. Johnny Lee was a member of Zion Grove AME Zion Church, where he served as the president of the All Male Choir and church organist. Johnny Lee leaves to cherish loving memories: his loving wife of 43 years, Mrs. Ruth S. Briscoe; one daughter, DeSherah Landrum (Dale) of Spartanburg, SC, two sons, DeShane Briscoe of Tryon, NC, DeShea Briscoe (Lindsey) of Mooresboro, NC and three grandchildren, Breylen Briscoe, Blakely Briscoe, and Kamden Landrum, as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
