MRS. VIVIAN VERNET MILLER McMICHAEL - Age 100, of Tunnel Hill, Georgia formerly of Cleveland, Ohio passed away Monday, December 19, 2022. She was born January 1, 1922, in Sugar Valley, Georgia to her late parents Edgar and Vida Miller. She attended Emery Street School in her early years. Her employment history includes long term employment at a local pharmacy in Cleveland, OH and ultimately retired from Liggett & Myers Tobacco Company, Cleveland, OH. In her later years, her Georgia family moved her to Dalton, GA following the death of her late husband, Herman McMichael. She was a member of Olivet Institutional Baptist Church, Cleveland, OH with her most recent church affiliation being Mt. Salem Baptist Church, Rocky Face, GA. Her favorite hobby was skeet shooting where she won numerous awards and placed great stock in the best of shotguns. She also enjoyed traveling and vested interest in family reunions which she loved until the decline in her health. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Walter Miller, Sr, and Emmett Miller.

She is survived by her son, Homer Covington, Chickamauga, Georgia; loving nieces and nephews from the Ohio and Georgia area; and other relatives and friends. Special love and dedication was shown from her caretakers; Keysia Robbs, Kim Fields, Toni Carter, and Mia Mays.

Homegoing Celebration will be Saturday, December 24, 2022, at 11:00 A. M. at Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Eugene Miller, Eulogist and Dr. Thomas Hall, Presider. Her remains will lie in state at the funeral home on Friday from 11:00 A. M. until the funeral hour. Interment; West Hill cemetery. Arrangements by Willis Funeral Home, Inc., Dalton, GA.
