GEORGIA MAE MOORE of Locust Grove Georgia, formally of Valdosta Georgia has passed from the troubles of this world on Wednesday, December 21, 2022.

Georgia Mae Moore was born January 31, 1935, in Tifton, Georgia, to the late Joseph, and Helen Harrell. She moved to Valdosta, Georgia as a young girl, where she lived most of her life. She attended Dasher High School, and she worked at The Valdosta Dry Cleaners, for more than 25+ years. She enjoyed her Saturday and Sunday morning garage sales with many of her friends. Over the past 5 years, she spent a lot of time doing her artwork, coloring, and reviewing her work posted on Facebook. She enjoyed her time shopping with Andrea, and spending time with her grand kids, and great grand kids.

She was predeceased by her one daughter, Darlene Moore Williams, of Valdosta, Georgia, and her granddaughter, Mikyah Stacks-Howard, of Orlando, Florida, one sister, Willie Pearl Finley, of New Haven, Connecticut, her Aunt Ida Mae Johnson, of Tifton, Georgia, her aunt, Mary Jane Thomas, of Valdosta, Georgia, her cousins, Katie Mae Thomas, and Raymond Thomas, of Valdosta, Georgia, her best friend of 75+ years, Dewitt Henderson, of Valdosta, Georgia.

She leaves to carry on her legacy, one son, Darryl Moore (Evelyn) of Salem, Alabama, one daughter, Andrea Moore Rucker, of Locust Grove, Georgia,One Nephew, Joseph Finley (Barbara) Nephew, of Boston, MA, and one niece, Barbara A Coachman (Gerald), Niece of Durham, NC. 7 Grand Children Adrienne Wright (Ralph) Granddaughter, of Valdosta, Georgia Amber Shamil Woods (Robert), Granddaughter of McDonough, Georgia Carlton Williams, Jr., Grand Son, of Valdosta, Georgia Brandon Rucker (Leandra), Grand Son, of West Palm Beach, Florida Ashley Wilson (Kilpatrick), Granddaughter, of Brandon, Florida Von Quicha Robertson (Preston), Granddaughter, of Sandy Springs, Georgia Taylor Williams, Granddaughter, of Macon, Georgia 9 Great Grands Raynah, Reygen, Ryleigh, Ap’riel, NiomiKarter, Iyani, Rikiyah, Isiah. 1 Great Great Grand Kingston.

Memorial Services will be3 held on Saturday, January 07, 2023, at 11:00 AM at the Highway 41 South Church of Christ - 4030 US Highway 41 South, Dasher, GA. Brother Jamie Dotson, Minister.
