Nelson Darryl Rodgers, 79, a native of Belle Vernon, PA of New Bern died Thursday, December 22, 2022 at CarolinaEast Medical Center.

His funeral Mass will be held 11:00 AM, Friday, December 30, 2022 at St. Paul Catholic Church 3005 Country Club Road.

Nelson was a retired Pennsylvania State Trooper stationed at Butler, Pennsylvania.

He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Rodgers of New Bern, NC; one son, Nathan Rodgers, Butler, PA; one brother, Negley Rodgers, Belle Vernon, PA; grandchildren, Nathan Rodgers, Abby Rodgers and Lyla Rodgers.
