Obituary For Mrs. Margaret Appleton Burns

Mrs. Margaret Appleton Burns 74, from Collinsville, AL., departed this life in Birmingham on December 20, 2022.

Margaret was sent from heaven to be a gift for Louie and Alice Appleton on November 13, 1948. Margaret’s early years of knowledge began at Gregory High School in Collinsville, AL.

After moving to Cleveland, OH, she completed the twelfth grade at Jane Addams High School. She confessed Christ at an early age uniting with Collins Chapel Methodist Church. Margaret was united in holy matrimony to Mr. Kenneth Burns for a short time. There we no children born in this union. Margaret suffered a stroke, which incapacitated her for a number of years, but therapies gave her the capability to live a somewhat normal life. Her hobbies were shopping, watching Court TV and cooking, until she began to use a lot of salt. When she could no longer walk and Carol (Lad) was no longer around, Margaret lost the will to live. She departed this life on December 20, 2022. She will fondly be remembered as the quiet soul by her: sister, Sarah Law of Raleigh, NC; brother, Larry Appleton of Birmingham, AL; special niece, Elois Thomas of Raleigh, NC; special cousin, Alma Johnson of Gadsden, AL; and special neighbors, Henry and Valerie Finney of Birmingham, AL.Condolences and prayers for family and friends.
