He loved his work, and was truly loved, as a son, by James and Virginia Davis. Because of this love he won the hearts of the entire Davis family and worked until his health failed. (While in the hospital, he told the doctor how he was at the funeral home at age 4 moving chairs). He was reared in a Christian home and joined the Pierce Grove Missionary Baptist church at an early age. He served faithfully as a trustee and was then Ordained as a Deacon. He enjoyed so much working in the Finance department and as well as in the kitchen when he was able. Noah was a 1972 graduate of Jefferson County High School. He played the Saxophone and he played football. He worked at Jefferson County Hospital for many years as an orderly and trained to become an EMT and trained to become a Respiratory Therapist. He then accepted a position at Eisenhower Medical center and worked there until his retirement. He received several awards including the Commander’s Award for Civilian Service as a Respiratory Therapist working in the Pulmonary/Respiratory Department from august 3, 1984 to May 31, 2012. He transitioned from labor to reward on Sunday, December 25, 2022 at 9:01 P.M. at Piedmont Hospital, Augusta Ga. He is preceded in death by his parent, grandparents and two siblings.
