Elker Smith, 93, a native of Pamlico County, North Carolina passed December 28, 2022 at NYC Health Hospital-Coney Island, Brooklyn, NY.

His New York service is Noon, Saturday, January 7, 2023 at Frank R. Bell Funeral Home 536 Sterling Place Brooklyn, NY.

A graveside service will be held in Arapahoe, North Carolina Noon, Thursday, January 12, 2023 at the Ganus Memorial Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Susie Smith of Brooklyn, NY; two daughters, Cynthia Renee Liverpool, Brooklyn, NY and Pier Adrienne Villanueva, Montclair, NJ; two sons, Darryl Smith and Stephen Smith both of Decatur, GA; sister Willie Bell Jones, Brooklyn, NY; eight grandchildren.
