Joseph Simmons, Jr., 65, husband of Evangelist Myra Ann Simmons, of the Point South community of Yemassee, SC was summons by the Master to rest in His peace on Friday, December 30, 2022. He quietly succumbed at his residence. He was the son of Mrs. Rovena Simmons and the late Joseph Simmons, Sr. "Junior" as he was fondly called by his family and friends, lives on in the hearts of those who knew and loved one.

Visitation: Saturday, January 7, 2022, 6-8 pm, in St. Paul Baptist Church, 6714 W. Frontage Rd., Coosawhatchie, SC 29912.

Funeral service: Sunday, January 8, 2022, 1:00 pm in the Mt. Carmel Baptist Association, Inc., 3763 Bees Creek Road, Ridgeland, SC. Burial in the Mitchell Cemetery, Coosawhatchie, SC.
