Deacon Freddie Drayton was born on April 12, 1961 in Sylvester, Georgia to the late Mr. and Mrs. Willie James and Gussie Cooper Drayton.
He was educated in the Worth County Public School System, and graduated from Worth County High School in 1981.
Freddie was a member of the Jesus Christ Tabernacle of Deliverance Church, where he was ordained as a Deacon, and served as President of the Usher Board.
Freddie was united in Holy Matrimony to Miss Beverly Marlin on February 11, 2006. This union was blessed as they blended their families with six children.
Freddie worked as a maintenance man for over thirty years with the Bozeman Agency and the Bozeman family. Freddie was all about helping people. He never met a stranger nor did he meet anyone that he didn’t give a kind word to. Everyone that came in contact with Freddie was blessed.
On December 31, 2022 at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia, the Lord called this powerful Man of God home. Freddie was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Willie James and Gussie Drayton, and three brothers, Larry Drayton, William Henry Drayton, Sr., and Norman Drayton.
