LUCILLE WHITFIELD CRUMP, 88, OF 505 E. PINE AVE ENTERED ETERNAL REST ON DECEMBER 27 AT HER RESIDENCE. SHE WAS BORN ON DECEMBER 02, 1934 IN WAKE COUNTY, NC TO THE LATE HOWARD WHITFIELD AND MINNIE LUCAS WHITFIELD. THE FUNERAL SERVICE WILL BE PROFESSIONALLY DIRECTED ON SUNDAY, JANUARY 8, AT 2PM AT FRIENDSHIP CHAPEL BAPTIST CHURCH IN WAKE FOREST, NC. THE BURIAL WILL FOLLOW IN THE CHURCH CEMETERY. THE FAMILY WILL RECEIVE FRIENDS FROM 1:30 - 2PM ON SUNDAY AT THE CHURCH.

I remember when I first met Ma Lucille, on one of the many trips that the Seniors would go on. Her father was living at that time and she would take him along, but he always wanted to know, "is pastor Holloway going"? If he wasn't going,he would not go. We often laughed about this. I will miss talking to her over the phone and remembering what a sassy dressing lady she was. Crump family, thank you for allowing me to call her my own, "Ma Lucille".

Mrs Lucille Crump was Ma Lucille to me . She loved❤️💜 me and I loved her. I'm gonna miss our phone calls her checking on me and my sister Rena who was her big baby. She love her Pastor Dr. Holloway and she said all the time how she loved 💗everyone. I'm gonna miss her so much.
