Ruth Edna Goode Anderson, 82, passed away on Saturday, December 31, 2022

Funeral service 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at Hunter-Odom Funeral Service, 121 S. Fairview Road, Rocky Mount, NC 27801 with the Reverend Dennis Gunter, officiating. Burial will be private.

Visitation 1 hour prior to the service.

Service will be Live Stream via Hunter-Odom Funeral Service website.

Sending my love, light & encouragement during this tough time to my family cousin Jackie & Angela & all the grands & great grands & the entire fam! Aunt Ruth was the last sister standing & went out with a fight til her final rest ! I have so much love & admiration for her! She was the Madea in the family! Always could make you laugh , but don't take no mess! I'm truly gonna miss her spirit her w/ us but there's comfort in knowing she's no longer in pain & has gained her wings! She is with GOD now in perfect peace reunited w/ all her sisters, including my gma Catherine! Since, I was little, I have so many memories of my Great aunt Ruth, traveling to NC, staying at her house and I will forever cherish that! Wish I could be present but hope that you all receive this with love in my absence! Praying for your strength as I know this is a hard one for everyone! Rest assure GOD is nye!
