Sanford Anthony Benjamin

Sanford Anthony Benjamin was born August 22, 1972 to the late Sanford Bill Benjamin and Gwendolyn Antoinette Benjamin in Fort Pierce, FL. He was the fourth of ten children. He received his early education in the public schools of St. Lucie County and graduated from Fort Pierce Westwood High School with the class of 1990. He began his career in engineering at Piper Aircraft and thereafter, truck driving. He was a die hard Buffalo Bills fan. He was a member of New Testament Christian Church.

He departed this life on December 28, 2022. He was preceded in death by his father: Sanford B. Benjamin; mother: Gwendolyn A. Benjamin; brother: Craig M. Benjamin; sister: Thelma Scott.

Left to cherish his precious memories are his loving wife: Elena Benjamin; children: Salena Benjamin, Sarena Benjamin, Sariah Benjamin; grandchildren: Jaden, Braden, and Oceanna; brothers: Dwayne Benjamin, Roderick (Lucy) Benjamin, Vincent Benjamin, Chauncey (Linda) Benjamin, Michael (Jackie) Benjamin, Ronald Benjamin, Sanford (Doris) Benjamin, James (Loretta) Benjamin, Joe(Pauline)Lewis Hill, Emory(Dorris)Benjamin, Willie Hill; sisters: Tonya Dixon, Angeline(William)Rolle, Edna Anderson, Rosalind(Edd)Brown, Anne(Nathaniel)Hudson, Jaquelyn(Freddie)Buckholtz; aunt: Jocelyn(Clarence)McCarver; uncles: Charles Atkins and William Atkins; cousin: Tramecia Atkins; nieces: Ashley, Rodnecia, Janyla, Chidalu, Mia Hardge, Sofie Hardge, Laura Alvarez, Julie Murillo; nephews: Israel Williams, Jaden, Junior Murillo, Jordan Hardge; in-laws: Mary and Jesse Tovar; sisters-in-law: Elsie Tovar and Lucy Murillo; brothers-in-law: Orithus Hardge and Manny Murillo; and a host of other nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives, and special friends.

Public visitation for Sanford Anthony Benjamin will take place on Friday, January 6, 2023 from 6:00pm-8:00pm at Stone Brothers Funeral Home in Fort Pierce, FL. Funeral services will convene on Saturday, January 7, 2023 at Saint Mark Missionary Baptist Church in Fort Pierce, FL beginning at 10:30am. Burial will immediately follow in Riverview Memorial Park.
