Obituary For Mr. James Edward Taylor, Sr.

Mr James Edward Taylor, Sr., was born on April 9, 1949, to the late Mr Donnell Taylor and Mrs Fannie Mae Taylor. He received his education at Bay High School and graduated in1968. He attended Gulf Coast Community College before starting his career at Gulf Power Southern Company. Mr Taylor retired after 42 years of service with Gulf Power. He was an active softball player with the Miller Motors Champs.

James, affectionately known as “Bo” or “JT”, was married to the late Phyllis Hill Taylor on January 7, 1972.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2023 at 11:00 am at Zion Hope Baptist Church located at 1520 Louisiana Avenue Panama City with Rev Donald Taylor, Darryl Hill, Henry Taylor, Jr Bishop W.P. Henry and Rev Bruce Taylor officiating. Interment will following in the Hillside Cemetery in Panama City Fl with the caring staff of Battle Mortuary of Panama City directing.

Viewing will be at the church on Saturday Beginning at 10 am one hour before the services.
