It is with profound sadness that we the Kromah, the Bamba, the Dunzo, the Sua, the Thomson, the Marshall, and the Sherman families regret to announce the death of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, and dear friend, Mr. Jura Musa Kromah, Sr., on Friday, January 6, 2023, at WakeMed Hospital in Cary, NC, USA.
The late Jura Musa Kromah, Sr., was a lion amongst men and a pillar to the Lamco, Yekepa, and Ganta, Nimba County, Liberia metropolitan areas.
General Manager (GM), as he was affectionately called by those who loved him, was a man of good character, fearless tenacity, courage, wit, business acumen, a philanthropist, Rotarian, and was a person who possessed a deep sense of passion for others and was always willing to help anyone in whatever way he could.
GM worked in the transportation and logging industries in Liberia. He served as one of the founding members of Rotary Club in Lamco Yekepa, Liberia. He was blessed to travel to Europe and North America extensively for business as well as rest and recreation.
Apart from his family, one of GM’s greatest achievements was to provide clean drinking water to the people of Camp-4, Nimba County, Liberia.
As he was escorted by the Angels and entered the Gates of Heaven, he heard all the harps, trumpets, and bells, as the Lord of Host said, “well done, thy good and faithful servant.”
The late Jura Musa Kromah, Sr. leaves to mourn his wife, Mrs. Verity Isabel Thomson Kromah, his beloved sister Aunty Tata Kromah, his siblings Mohammed Kromah, Mayakaba Kromah, Vafumbah Kromah, and Morris Kromah, his children Maima “Chuku” Kromah, Phanta Y.
