Her mom nicknamed her "Dinky" because she was so tiny, therefore everyone has known her by her nickname. She was a lifelong resident of High Point, NC, and attended Guilford County Schools.
She was proceeded in death by her parents and grandparents, one son, Bruce (Sam) Cochrane, one sister, Sherrie Anita Cochrane.
Dinky was fun to be with. She always had a way of making you laugh. Her nieces and nephews loved her dearly and could always count on much laughter when they were around her. She was very fond of her "brother-in-law," (Apostle Michael Jerideau) she said she loves him because he makes her sister happy.
Leaving to cherish her memories are Allison George of the home, two sons: Derrick Rashad Cochrane and Marcus Eugine Cochrane of High Point, NC; three sisters: Henrietta Flowers and Mamie Alexander of High Point, NC and Apostle Willa (Apostle Michael) Jerideau of Kernersville, NC; three brothers: James E. Cochrane Jr. of the home, Kenneth Cochrane and Gregory Cochrane of High Point, NC; seventeen grandchildren: Ziaquawn, Aniyah, Niala, Avontae, Paige, Taliyah, Derrion, Khalayah, Brittney, Demeria, Samiah, Zamaria, Aden, JaMarcus, Marquel, Micah, Jalen, one great-grandchild and her special nieces: Patrice, Misty, Tomeka, Alesha, Kyra, Jamie Shemeka, Tiffany and Renee; her special nephews: Carlos, Joseph, Josh, Aj, Jerome, Maurice, Mario; and a host of cousins and friends including those she counted as the best of friends: her sis.
