John Anthony Lenza, age 73 passed on Sunday, Dec 25th, 2022. His funeral will be held 1:00PM on Saturday, January 7, 2023 at Woodard Funeral Home Chapel.

He was born on October 23, 1949 to the late Serafino and Margaret Lenza in Staton Island, NY.

John worked for the Department of Sanitation for the City of NY and retired in the 80’s. He moved to NC in 2004 where he met his wife, Karen Nevius in 2005. They were married on June 20th, 2009.

In addition to his wife, Karen, John leaves to cherish his loving memories to his children: Kimberly “Kim” O’Connor and John Lenza (wife, Anna) both of Staton Island, NY; four grandchildren, Timothy “Tim” O’Connor (age 28), Kaitlyn “Katie” O’Connor (age 25), Robert Lenza (age 20), and Christopher Lenza (age 17); one sister, Audrey Honor, of Delray Beach FL.
