Obituary For Barbara Ann Boatman

Barbara Ann Boatman of Blytheville, Arkansas was born January 4, 1968 in Memphis, Tennessee to Aubrey Boatman and Lenten Grayson Boatman. Barbara was a graduate of Blytheville High School and was employed at Abilities Unlimited. She was a member of True Gospel Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend Carl Rogers. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Morgan, her sisters Emma and twin sister Beverly. Barbara passed away Sunday, January 8, 2023 in St. Bernard’s Medical Center in Jonesboro, Arkansas at the age of 55. She is survived by two daughters, Dasonja (Paul) Smith of Blytheville, Arkansas and Saqueila Boatman of Malden, Missouri; one brother Calvin Boatman of Blytheville, Arkansas; two sisters Celestine (Benny) Holliman and Katherine Boatman both of Blytheville, Arkansas; an uncle George Grayson of Jonesboro, Arkansas and an aunt, Mattie Grayson of Chicago, Illinois; eight grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitations will be held Saturday, January 14, 2023 from 12:00 until services begin at 2:00 p.m. at True Gospel Missionary Baptist Church, 1604 West Rose Street, Blytheville, Arkansas. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Reverend Carl Rogers is the pastor and will deliver the eulogy, with burial to follow in Sandy Ridge Cemetery.
