Ms. Katanja DeShay Burnside, age 36, of Spring St. Laurens, SC joined her Heavenly Father on January 10, 2023 at Prisma Health of Laurens.

She will be forever loved by her childern: Keisha and Keishana; her parents: Mary "Missy" Burnside and Joseph Mason; sisters: Kazaria Johnson, Tracy Burnside, and Sirbrenna Simmons; brothers: Rico Martin and Kenny Johnson as well as many other loving relatives and friends.

The Celebration of Life for Ms. Katanja was held on January 17, 2023; in the Childs Funeral Home Chapel. Her final resting place is in Orchard Park Memorial Gardens.
