Obituary For Kamrin Boone

Mr. Karmin Lashon Boone, 25, of Louisville, Ky. transitioned this life on January 4th in Louisville, Ky. Services will be on Saturday, January 14, 2023 at Alapaha Gym in Alapaha, Ga. at 12:00 noon. Committal will be held in West Fletcher Cemetery in Alapaha, Ga.

Kamrin LaShon Boone was born on October 22, 1997, in East Point, Georgia to Kelvin E. Norris and Ester L. (LaTrice) Thomas. He was a military dependent who’d attended Berrien, Liberty, Clayton and Fayette County Schools in Georgia; he’d attended school in Hawaii, and he’d completed his high school years in Hardin County located in Kentucky. Kamrin completed his freshman year of college at Lindsey Wilson College; he completed his sophomore through senior years of collegiate studies at Thomas More University where he’d earned his Bachelor of Science in Communications. He was enrolled in Messiah University with only three courses remaining to complete his master’s degree; he was determined to earn his PhD and to become an HBCU Professor. Kamrin was employed at Allied Universal Security Company as the Healthtex Site Supervisor, and he was also a Lyft driver during his free time. He loved basketball, jiu jitsu, boxing, chess, speaking / learning different languages (fluently speaking Spanish and attempting to learn Swahili), reading / researching, traveling and spending time with his siblings. His Papa called him Bubba, his Auntie Cassundra coined the nickname Kamkorda and everyone else knew him as Kam. Kamrin passed away on Wednesday, 4 January 2023; he was preceded in death by Bishop Queen E. Polite (his grandmother), Ivy D. Harbert (his aunt), Kenneth L. Warren (his uncle), Derrick A. Thomas (his brother) and Erica LaTrice Boone (his sister). Kamrin leaves the following family members to cherish his memory: Kelvin E. Norris and Ester L. (LaTrice) and Willie C Thomas III (his parents); Earlie B. Brown (Bertha), Pauline Brown and Alfonzo and Erma Boone Sr. (his grandparents); Ashley N. Jordan (William), Kennedy B. Norris and Eliyah C. Thomas (his sisters); Wrylee C. Thomas (his brother); Amari A. Jordan (his nephew); Amariya L. J. Jordan and Ariya A. Jordan (his nieces); also, a host of other family and friends.
