Obituary For Mr. Robert Charles Montfort

Mr. Robert Charles Montfort passed on Tuesday, January 10, 2023. Visitation will be held Friday, January 13, 2023 from 12:00 Noon until 4:30 P.M. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. at Lincoln Memorial Cemetery. Trice Funeral Home of Thomaston is in charge of all arrangements. Pleas keep the Montfort family in prayer Mr. Robert Charles Montfort was born on November 20, 1941 to Mr. Buster Montfort and was raised by Mrs. Pearline Montfort Worthy in Thomaston, Upson County, Georgia. He received his education in the Upson County School System. When he reached manhood, Robert began his career with Martha Mills. He was employed there until he reached retirement. He made his home in the Lincoln Park Community. Robert was preceded in death by one brother, Rev. Sanford Worthy; and one sister, Ms. Lucille Montfort. On Tuesday, January 10, 2023, the Lord called Robert’s his name. He answered the call and went home to eternal rest. He will be missed by his friends at the Nursing Home and friends in the community. Robert is survived by two brothers, Mr. Kenny (Angela) Montfort of Barnesville, GA and Mr. Johnny Worthy of Thomaston, GA; and a host of cousins in the Montfort, Worthy, Chaney and Biggs families. .
