Pamela Patricia Williams peacefully transitioned from Earth to rest on January 5, 2023. Pamela was born on February 14,1960 to Ethel Williams in Richmond Virginia. At the age of three her family moved to Newark NJ where she soon attended 15th Avenue School. Pamela graduated from the now named University High School. However, during her attendance it was named SWAS or “School Within a School.”

After high school she attended Seton Hall University where she majored in Nursing. Pamela also attended Essex County College where she received her Associate Degree in Business Administration. Pamela then went on to receive her Certification as a Nursing Assistant. Pamela was last employed at Newark Extended Care which is now Sinai Post-Acute Nursing and Rehab Center on Jay Street in Newark NJ.

Pamela will always be remembered for her UNIQUE laugh, her beautiful smile and caring for others from the heart.

Pamela was preceded in death by her grandsons Mustafa T. Bearfield Jr., and Nasir J. Clayton, her grandmother Christine Thompson, her Uncle Sylvester Williams, and Aunt Linda Barnard.

Her legacy will live on in her children Rashann Clayton of Easton PA, Shameka Williams of Huntsville AL, and Felicia Clayton of Newark NJ.

Pamela leaves to cherish her memory her husband Calvin Clayton, her mother Ethel Lee Williams, her sisters Cynthia Williams of Newark NJ, Adrenna Diggs of Macon GA, her aunt Violet Williams, mother-in-law Bessie Mae Clayton of Marriana Fl, brother -in-laws Paul and Chris Clayton of Greenwood Fl, sister-in-law Marthinea Clayton of Burlington NJ, four granddaughters Bella, Keniyah, Kamiyah, and Telicia, four grandsons Fararhd, Rashann, Fahkir, Axel and two great grandchildren Kaiden and Blessyn. She also had a special friend Lloyd Eurehj along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
