Obituary For Randy "Booty " Moss

(June 12, 1958 -- January 5, 2023 )

DALLAS---Funeral services for Mr. Randy Moss, 64, of Dallas, formerly of Tyler, will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2023 at 3 pm in the sanctuary of People's Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Marcus Jackson Sr.as eulogist. Burial will follow in New Hope Bullard Cemetery under the direction of John R. Harmon Undertaking Company.

Mr. Moss was born on June 12, 1958 to the late William and Jesse Faye Moss in Tyler, Texas and transitioned on January 5, 2023 at UT Health East Texas.

He graduated from Robert E. Lee High School and was a resident of Dallas County for twenty plus years. He was a member of People's Baptist Church and owned and operated Moss Transportation.

Mr. Moss served in the United States Army and received an Honorable Discharge in 1977. He was a member of Deadly Twisters Motorcycle Club.

Mr. Moss was preceded in death by one brother, William Moss . He is survived by his spouse: Sarah Moss of Dallas; Daughters: Kristal Smith and Shannon Wilson both of California; Sisters: Diane Williams of Irving, Vicki Simmons and Darlene Moss both of Tyler; Step-children: Keonna Bass of Tyler, Stepheon Jackson of Chapel Hill, Demarcus Johnson and Kendrick Johnson of Dallas; Bonus Brothers: Preston Seaton and Greg Bass both of Dallas, Billy Goodwin of Longview and Liwatha Moore of Tyler; four grandchildren; other relatives and friends.

Public viewing will be Friday, January 13, 2023 from 2 pm to 8 pm at the funeral home.
