Gwendolyn Louise Brown, 77 of Memphis, Tennessee passed away on Wednesday, December 28, 2022, at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.

Born Thursday, August 16, 1945 in Memphis, Tennessee. She was the wife of Landon Brown.

She was retired from Memphis City Schools.

Gwen leaves to cherish her memories her loving husband of 51 years Landon Brown, her children Michael (Megan) Brown and Kendra Lynn Brown. Her grandchildren Marshun, Kendric, Payj, Malachai, and Malcolm, her siblings Wali (Nadirah) Shaheed, Daisy (Samuel), Donald (Scarlet) Seward and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and loving friends and hundreds of students whose lives she touched over the years.

The family will receive friends Thursday, January 12, 2023 from 4:00pm-6:00pm. Funeral service will be Friday, January 13, 2023 at 12:00noon both will be held at RS Lewis & Sons 2944 Walnut Grove Road

Interment will be in West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery, 4000 Forest Hill Irene Memphis, TN.
