Words fail to express our sorrow right now. Our hearts ache knowing that our cousin Andrew is gone, but we know that he is in a better place surrounded by all of his love ones. Coming home to Martinsville will never be the same without that visit to 2nd Street or McDonalds to say hello and catch up with each other. He will definitely be missed. Please know family that you are in our thoughts and prayers. Mary Fannie Morris-Gibbons, Bernice Brown-Collins and Family - Columbus, Ohio

Andrew was one of my favorite cousins and I will miss him. He would come by and always talked about family history. He loved Sarah Lou, as he called our mama. God left him here for a purpose and he has finished his course. Our cousins were and are special to us because that's what we were taught by mama. Always love you! Willie Mae and Peter Harris

Our Uncle Andrew loved to watch current events on television and kept current on local events by reading the local paper and the Roanoke Times. He was always interesting to talk to and I will miss him dearly. He was a resource for local and family history. Our family has lost a treasure. Lois B. Hairston Martinsville, VA
