She was preceded in death by her husband Willie Smith; her parents Luscious Brown and Mary Anna Brown; one son Michael Brown; three sisters Lizzie Smith, Pearlie Butler and Rosetta Brown; grandparents Willie and Lela Clarkson.
She leaves to cherish her memorial three children Jean Ester Gibson (Henry) of Valdosta, GA, Mary Spinks of Perry FL and Sharon Moore (Jerome) of Valdosta, GA; 4 devoted grandchildren Carlos Moore (Servita) of Valdosta, GA, Godfrey Moore Jr. (Inga) of Atlanta, GA, Teresa Moore Williams (Xavier) of Valdosta, GA and Derek Moore of Charlotte, NC; grandchildren Lakechia Bryant of Houston, TX, DeMarrio Bryant of Tallahassee, FL, Martel Ray of Perry, FL, Darlene Henry (Johnny) , Veona Gibson, Mozella Gibson and Henry Gibson all of Valdosta, GA; 35 great grandchildren; 6 great great grandchildren; one brother-in-law Bobby Smith; namesake great great granddaughter Amina Grace Washington, special niece Dorothy Brown, lifetime friends Willie Mae and Ben Stewart, Ben Matchett, Nancy Tillman, Nancy Fields and special neighbor Jay and Lindsey Wolfe.
Home going services for Ms. Gracie will be held on Saturday, January 21 at 2:00 P. M. at Thomas Chapel Missionary Baptist Church Rev. Salary is the pastor and Dr. Elaine Lewis will officiate. Burial will follow in the Pallbearer Cemetery.
