Yvonne Lowery Dancy, age 67 (affectionally known as Chick) was born September 13,1955. The daughter of the late Thomas Edward Dancy and Katie Lee Dancy, she departed her earthy life, and entered her spiritual life on January 11, 2023, at Newark Beth Israel Hospital in New Jersey.

Yvonne received her formal education within New Jersey School system. Yvonne continued her education where she received her bachelor's degree in accounting.

Yvonne worked for Bauer Factory Supply as an Accounts Receivable Clerk for over twenty years until her retirement. Yvonne was of kind heart and spirit. Wherever she went Yvonne never met a stranger. When meeting Yvonne, it was as if you had known each other forever. Yvonne had such a gentleness about her that she always knew what to say to comfort your soul.

Yvonne is proceeded in death by sisters Cynthia Dancy, Patricia Graves, Donna Dancy, brother's Kenneth Graves, and David Graves.

Yvonne leaves to cherish her memory her mother Virginia Dancy, her children Anthony Dancy, Darryl Dancy and Shakira Johnson, grandchildren Al Shaquan Moore and Davien Jahir Dancy, sisters Katie Scott (Kenneth), Melba Taylor, Thomasina Dancy, Colleen Dancy, brothers Edward Dancy and Jason Dancy, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews as well as other relatives and friends.
