Obituary For Don Durain Thomas Jr.

Thomas, Don D. Jr., A resident of Montgomery, AL departed this life on Thursday, January 12, 2023. Funeral services will held on Saturday, January 28, 2023 at 12:00 Noon from Freewill Baptist Church, Rev. Quentin Byrd, Pastor, and Rev.Christopher Bennett, officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.

Mr. Thomas will lie in state on Friday, January 27, 2023 from 5-7PM at Phillips-Riley Funeral Home, and on Saturday at the church one hour prior to services.

NOTICE: Please be mindful that the State of Alabama and the CDC have advised that we limit gatherings and that individuals who are ill and or are at-risk (e.g., elderly, immune-compromised) should be encouraged to stay home. Social Distancing Practices will be observed during the visitation and service.
