Exantus Edmond was born on July 31, 1955 to Odilon Edmond and Silmene Joseph in Haiti. Most of his life was spent working as a farm worker. This profession was one that he was really passionate about. In search of a better life for him and his children, Exantus decided to relocate to the United States. Four years later, in 1980, he and one of his children’s mother: Amise Laurent, decided to go back to Haiti because of the love of the children that they left behind. He eventually made it back to carry out his duty of raising his children properly. He worked really hard to gain his green card. By gaining this, he would have the opportunity of traveling back and forth to see his children. Later on, he married another young lady named: Venitha Saitville.

On January 1, 2023, the book of life was closed for Exantus Edmond and he peacefully departed this life.

Left to cherish his memories are his children: Gemina Edmond, Alix Edmond, Edeline Edmond, Loveson Edmond, Dieff Edmond, Phedia Edmond, Veloune Edmond, Jean H. Edmond, Yoline Edmond, Schnaider Edmond, Eddie Edmond, Marcland Edmond, Fritz Edmond, Carlens Edmond, Jackson Jean Baptiste; grandchildren: TayShaun Edmond, Zarry H. Michel, Shaggy Childeric, Shakira Childeric, Rodeney Fleurant, Bryan Fleurant, Amanda L. Edmond, Chloe Edmond, Edwyn Edmond, Jaysen Dorlouis, Keyden Dorlouis, Salisha Dorlouis, Stephania Brianna Edmond, Preston Edmond, J’avaela Skye Edmond, Ruud Larry Edmond, Benly T. Edmond, Hendricks E. Edmond; and a host of other family members and sorrowing friends who will miss him.

Public visitation for Exantus Edmond will take place on Friday, January 20, 2023 from 5:00pm-7:00pm at Stone Brothers Funeral Home in Fort Pierce, FL. Funeral services will convene on Saturday, January 21, 2023 in Fort Pierce, FL beginning at 10:00am.
