Funeral Services for Mrs. Joyce Ann Colson Bryant 60 ,of Hawkinsville GA will be Saturday January 28, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at the Springfield Missionary Baptist Church Hawkinsville GA.

Interment Mt .Moriah Baptist Church Cemetery Unadilla, GA.

Public Visitation will be held Friday January 27 , 2023 from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Joyce Ann Colson Bryant took her eternal rest on January 18, 2023. She was born on February 4, 1962, to Turner (C.T.) Colson and Faustine Whitehead Colson who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her grandparents; mother- and fatherin-law; aunts and uncles; brother- and sister-in-law; two special aunts, Thelma Whitehead and Lizzie Mae Sheffield; and her two brothers who she loved dearly, Turner C. Colson “Jr. Boy” and Perry Colson. She attended Springfield Missionary Baptist Church and was baptized at an early age. She was a faithful member who served on the usher board for many years. She attended the Pulaski County school systems and was a 1980 graduate from Hawkinsville High School. She was employed at Leshner Mill in Hawkinsville for many years where many knew her as “Boone.” She was a dedicated worker. While working there, she gained two special friends, Cal Vickers, who will mourn and cherish memories, and Brenda Sue Giddens, who preceded her in death. She leaves behind to mourn and cherish her memories: her husband of 30 years, Charles Bryant of Hawkinsville, GA; her two children, Robbie Colson, Sr. (Shan), of Warner Robins, GA, and Crystal Lorick (Tyrell Sr.) of Jacksonville, FL; her two grandchildren whom she loved with all her heart, Robbie Colson, Jr., “R.J.” and Tyrell Shingles, Jr., “T.J.;” her three sisters, Peggy Colson Williams, Teen Ann Colson Harrell (James), and Virginia Colson (Jerry), all of Hawkinsville, GA; her sistersin-law, Elnora Anderson Booker (Tavares) of Macon, GA, Elaine Bryant of Hawkinsville, GA, and Katrise Colson of Hendersonville, TN; a host of aunts and uncles in Georgia, Texas, and Florida; a special aunt, Esther A. Whitehead of Atlanta, GA; uncle, Charles E. Whitehead (Lorrine) of Abilene, TX; a host of nieces and nephews from Georgia, Tennessee, and Florida; a host of cousins, friends, and classmates from all over the world; a special cousin, Barbara Jean Colson; friends, Jackie Green “Punkin” and Josephine McBurse “Phine;” and she also had three children who were dear to her and called her “Nanny,” Jaimon Hilliard “Little Man,” Boppy Hilliard, and Jude Hilliard “Ju Ju.”
