The Lockhart family pauses to reflect upon the extraordinary life of Deacon Caesar Battle. His faith in God, love for family, seasoned wisdom, and uncompromised faith was passed to his children. Deacon Caesar was an undeniable class act, and for many, an icon and mentor in his church and community. Though our hearts are saddened by his passing, we rejoice in the knowledge of knowing "to be absent from the body, is to be present with the Lord." Our thoughts and prayers are with the Battle family. ~ Bro. Artis & Min. Georgia Lockhart

Uncle Ned is leaving a great legacy as a Christian man, hard working father, and the Patriarch of the Caesar & Lena Battle family. He was soft spoken, a man of few words, but a Heart of pure Gold. My brother Stanley and I visited him in the early fall 2022, and we were so honored to just be in his presence. Uncle Ned, Grandma Lena and your siblings feel complete again with your heavenly Presence. My Love for my Battle Family continues for a lifetime. Lynne Holcomb Lennon
